Just this morning, the first British entrepreneurs signed up to start a company in the Netherlands. Typically, entrepreneurs and business owners in the UK mainly trade in the private sector whilst others can be found working for the European Commission.
With Brexit underway, we can expect our Ambassadors in Dubai, China and India to find it easier to suggest investing in the Netherlands, rather than the UK, to their clients.
For most entrepreneurs, the purpose of an EU branch is to have access to the entire European market, however, with the latest developments and the fragility of the British Pound such investments create too many legal and economic uncertainties.
Business consultants from the UK have also started promoting business climate in the Netherlands to their foreign clients. For this reason, this month SHELFCO Business Group will be in London to start working on the first co-operations within the UK.
